Anyone got a carb balancer?

Post by bikemonkey »

As above, has anyone got a carb balancer for 4 cylinders? I'd like to borrow it
Adapters for the NC30 would be amazing too.

Plus if you're not too far and willing, a bit of help wouldn't go a miss either :peace:

Thanks in advance.

Supposedly you don't need specific adapters for the NCs as they use the same size vac take-off points as the other models. At least, that's what Carbtune say, so I'll be miffed if I find it doesn't fit when I do mine... lol

Take carbs off and balance by eye using the 3 holes in the Venturi

Corret, the NC30 requires screw in type take-off adapters.

There are two common types of adapter threads used on most bikes 5mm and 6mm. I cant remember which one fits the NC30 but 4 of each type come with the mogan carb-tune when you buy it so you wont have any proeblems using.

If using it make sure you get a good tool for getting in there to adjust!!!

Might get a right angled screwdriver if need be, or just blow torch and bend one ;)

Sod that, £16 or "modify" an old one I don't like? I know which I'd choose.

Just remember its the internals of these that turn and not the driver itself there is a shaft inside. Stops your pinkys and the back of your hand looking like the elephant man.
