NC30 Caliper brackets (brembo 4 pad)
Bought the SES caliper brackets from JAP4 to fit the brembo 4 pad type calipers on my 30
Went to fit them today to find the gap from the bracket to the fork mounting points are to far apart for 1 spacer per hole.
2 are required but this doesnt look right, and there isnt enough to do this for both calipers.
Any ideas whats wrong, have i got the wrong brackets?
Pissed me off as i drained all the old fluid out of my old calipers before checking all the bits
Cheers
Matt

Got any pics? I can't seem to get a good visual of your problem.

I cant visualise that either.. there are two common brackets though depending on calipers.. the one you need will be 65mm if i remember?

They just bolt on?

They just bolt on?

Yeah, my brackets look like that but with out the raied step, mine are just flat.
The brackets fit the calipers fine, and onto the forks, but dont meet the forks as the gap is to wide.
Il get a pic up later to try and show it.

Have you got them backwards!? The brackets should bolt onto the forks and not the calipers if anything..matt_nc30 wrote:Yeah, my brackets look like that but with out the raied step, mine are just flat.

The bracket attached to calier

The gap between the bracket and forks

Will only fit with spacers to fill the gap like this

Sounds like you have the wrong spacers. Easy fix, just get in touch with Gavin and I'm sure he'll send you the replacement sized ones.

I've looked on the net and the 'brembo' adapaters seem to come with washers

As seen in this pic.. get in touch and you'll get some :D
