VFR400 NC30 Standard System

Post by TauntFate »

Hi All,

Im looking to put an aftermarket system on my viffer, obviously avoiding chopping up the standard one, only issue is my original can has some scuffing from what looks like a stationary/slow speed spill.

Is it still worth anything with that being the case? (I'll try and add some pics later on) - If it's not then I don't see the need to keep it as it is and may as well opt for modifying that rather than buying the half system.

Cheers,

Dean.

They are always worth something.
But it will depend on condition.

I've sold cut standard systems for £50 and a mint system for £200 so there is a value to it

Christ, I gave a totally unmarked, unrusted standard system away last week, copmlete with front pipes and stubby header.

sorry fella, only had the one i was keeping it as it was the most pristine one ive ever seen barring a factory fresh system, no rust on the joints.

but you can really feel the bike being stranglled compared to an aftermarket system and upset so it was just sleeping under a blanket.

I have one here that I've just removed, a little far away though! No corrosion at all, didn't even need crc to get it off!
