so it's started this morning.
over the past couple of days i've spent a lot of it thinking about my bikes, the parts i have in the garage and what i'm doing with them.
it didn't take long for me to realise i have alot of bits not fitted to bikes just sitting in boxes in the loft, i keep saying ,2i'll have to get around to fitting that" and "i'll hold off fitting that until...."
well this morning i thought it's a good a morning to start fitting bits ( albeit a cold one) and what better to start with that the HRC bits i have.
firt off the HRC catch tank i got from yahoo over a year ago. it was on my track bike but it's now sold so i better fit it to something.....
it's not 100% fitted yet but nearly there .... and you wouldn't even know it was there.

next up the HRC spec carbs,HRC oil cooler and whatever else i find up there.
and the things i don't need i'm going to sell. no point having them it i'm not using them.

Excellent, finally the castrol bike is getting the HRC treatment it deserves
Are you going full on HRC with the carbs/intake setup? ie no filter.

yep , it's all sitting in a box cause it was taken off the track bike before it was sold. sitting there doing nothing so it's all getting fitted.

Re: so it's started this morning.
off the top of my head i remember the HRc oil cooler and HRC spec carbs, i have 2 pairs of heads i've wanted to get ported ( there i go again, i've been wanting to do alot but never get around to it ) so i'll look into getting those done and fitted and the other set was for the motor i was building (
)
i have a stock system, a sansei system, i think i have an ethos too, 2 pairs of forks, HRC bottles and brake res, i think i have lights, mirrors, uncut undertrays, stock subframes, engine cases .....thats about all i can remember but as i open boxes i'll find more.
i'll get the carbs down tomorrow and see what they need. might get them fitted if i have time (

Re: so it's started this morning.
catch tank fitted and i'm well happy with how it turned out, the breather pipe exits just under the number plate and all the bodywork and tank fits without fouling .
up in the loft i got opening two boxes, one had the carbs, oil cooler and air tray and the other had HRC an over flow bottle and rear brake res. i'll put up what i don't need in the for sale section shortly.
carbs got the jets and needles put in and a spare fuel tap was HRC speced !
now to get ten minutes to fit them...

Re: so it's started this morning.
i've been busy over the last few days, i got time to fit the HRC carbs ( pictures to follow) and i'm very happy with them now, i've also a few other bits to get sorted, heres the pictures of the oil cooler and the brake res and over flow bottle but i've also a full hrc system.

i think they'll look well all fitted don't you ?

Exhaust looks in good nick. Looks heavy mind, mild steel I'm assuming?
