Post by silentRVF »

Hey guys,
As above.. where does the RVF400 speedo measure from, and will changing the gearing of the sprockets affect the speedo and odometer?

Cheers!

It runs off the front sprocket nut and so changing the gearing will affect the readings...

I've always got around it by fitting a digital pushbike speedo (magnet on front wheel), then you can change the gearing to your hearts content and you'll always have an accurate speedo.
