RVF NC35 Front end on CBR NC29 - Big job?

Post by vr46 »

Hi All,

I have seen a few threads about this topic already, however the linked information has expired from the forum.

I have seen a few NC29's with NC35 forks and it has sparked my interest ;) Please can someone share what work is involved, is it a big job?

Thanks :!:

You have to use the NC35 clamps - they are bigger due to USD...

So, good luck finding the clamps!

OK, if I had a FULL RVF front end (everything) then is it a direct fit?

Is it a simple direct replacement with no mods at all :?:

I assume the forks will accept an NC23,29,30 wheel as this is shared across the model range?

Thanks,

I run an NC23 wheel in my NC30, so they fit no worries

You cant get the NC35 forks on an NC23 as they are too short and when you brake, the forks bottom out on the mudguard and fairing. Tried it myself

However as the OPs question was for the NC29 the fact that they dont fit the 23 is kind of irrelevent...
