oil behind generator cover

Hi all, I have just taken off my generator cover and to my horror the genny was covered in oil, I don't this is normal, can someone enlighten me on this please??

There was a little 'dribble' in there when I replaced mine a while back, I think it is normal. :grin:

It runs in oil. It's fine. You can see into the engine where the oil come in and out of the genny case.. hence the oil-tight gaskets on it :)

Dont' tip the engine over towards you if its still full of oil, it'll all run out!
