There was a little 'dribble' in there when I replaced mine a while back, I think it is normal.brido wrote:Hi all, I have just taken off my generator cover and to my horror the genny was covered in oil, I don't this is normal, can someone enlighten me on this please??

It runs in oil. It's fine. You can see into the engine where the oil come in and out of the genny case.. hence the oil-tight gaskets on it :)
Dont' tip the engine over towards you if its still full of oil, it'll all run out!
