Re: hot battery
I would instantly say reg rec is frying the battery but you said you have replaced them, did you do them at the same time, if not perhaps one has buggered the other,
if not you might have a short somewhere?

Re: hot battery
Your generator could also be knackered
http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/pdfs/Tro ... G-&-RR.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Fully charge your battery and follow that through in the right order without skipping any steps to test your electrical system.

Re: hot battery
after replacing the alternator on my nc30 and i had no issues running the standard reg rec.i had replaced the reg rec previously with a heavy duty aftermarket one and it gave up the ghost twice before i went back to oe and it lasted for rest of the time i had the bike.

Re: hot battery
hehe i fixed it,it tuned out the rectifier wires from the loom had gotten pinched and were bare and touching off each other and causing all the poblems,,sorted out the wires with some electrical tape,a rectifier of a r6 and a new battery and all is working perfectly now:)
