Re: please help me
From your results - 13+V with the bike at idela and less than 12with it running - that means the generator is not charging the battery at all.
Your multimeter -
Tope left section is all VOLTS DC - turn it to the 20 option and use the two probes, one on each battery terminal.
For testing the generator - on the part of the plug that is attached to the generator wiring, rather than the other side that will lead to the Regulator.rectifier. Right hand side of the dial is VOLTS AC - two options 600 or 200. Use 200.
With the bike running you put the prongs into the connector onto wires, 1 and 2 - measure it. then 2 and 3, measure it and then 1 and 3, measure it.
There are 3 wires..so name them what you want - you should get a result form each - up to 50V AC. If not, then part of the generator is knackered.
to post images - register on photobucket> upload a photo and then when you view it on that site it will give you 4 options under it - one of them is IMG - copy that and paste it into the forum.
This is my knackered generator.... the pic is displayed - (IMG]http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m38/ ... CF2070.jpg[/IMG)
but instead of rounded brackets ( )- you use [ ] square ones instead...

Re: please help me
Hi Rick.
If you download the bandit service manual it will take you through the tests. The - prob should be taken to ground and you should have more than 70V at 5000 rpm. If you set your tester to continuity and test between each yellow wire with the bike not running there should be no continuity between any of the wires.
