nc24 engine in a nc30 frame with nc30 rads, carbs, wire harness and exhaust system

i have no idea, i bought it from a guy that imported a few from japan, i heard the nc24 engine is better for racing thats why they do this in japan

cool.. be interesting to see what tuning could be done to that motor and see how it goes.

Would have thought it might rev less with the heavier top end..who knows!!

arnt they big band engines too so it should have a bit mroe torque?

looks like its got nc24 coils too

Yeah the NC24 has 4 coils not 2.

They fire 180 the same as the VFR750's.

Well according to the TT F3 manuals Cam posted the other day the HRC NC24 made 73bhp.

It revs to 13,500 with the standard CDI, 14,500 with the HRC one.

And that's why they need two coils per bank, 360 degree they can use wasted spark, the NC30/35 is big bang, RC/NC24 is screamer.

IF i've read the book correctly it's an 87 RH-II engine (would have been in a rothmans bike ;)

Are your oil cooler ports blanked off or linked together?

You should be able to fit an oil cooler fairly easily (providing you find somewhere to fit it :mrgreen: )
