seat units
hi, can anybody tell me if an nc30 seat unit will fit a 35? its only for a race bike so if a little bit of trimming is required not a problem.
thanks. paul.

Re: seat units
I have an NC35 seat unit for sale if you are interested - £20 - little scuff on one side but ideal for the track.
I'm in hampshire if you want to collect.

thanks for that but i'm ordering a seat from chris at infinity carbon and wondered as he used an nc30 to make it if it would fit a 35.

Re: seat units
we're going to have to alter the subframe a bit for the seat unit but hopefully all will work out ok.Drunkn Munky wrote:Mounting points are different on 30 and 35 units although im sure its possible with a little tweeking, i have 30 subframe on a 35 frame with a 35 seat unit so........

Re: seat units
Easiest to fit the 30 subframe, main reason is that the 30 mounts to the subframe and to the frame the 35 mounts to the special subframe mounting bolts and plugs into the tank.
You *can* drill the 30 bodywork to fit but its so close to the existing mounts it gets a bit messy, the 30 subframe fits a treat.
Oooh, seems I did this once before

Re: seat units
A '35 seat unit fits a 30' subframe no worries (just different mounts - two are defunct), so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way 'round? For racing: no probs.
