Suspension question

Post by Smitizen »

At over 10kph my fairing hits the ground (just in front of the rear wheel) when going over largish bumps so i was wondering how to raise the rear up a cm or 2(or however high is deemed decent)? The stock suspension is height adjustable yeah?
I also hear this is good for initial turn in? Or has someone been telling me porky pies?

Cheers!

I don't think it should be hitting the ground :(

Instead of raising the rear why not find out what is causing your bike to foul the ground and fix that ^_^

how much of the forks is sticking out of the top of the top-yoke?

try dropping the forks through the yokes a bit further.

That will lower the whole bike, not raise the rear. :?

no it wont.

if you drop the yokes (rise the forkes) it will lower the bike

but if you do it the other way round ie drop the forks it will rise the bikes front end.

Sorry, re-read what your saying.

I doubt wether that would fix the problem anyway, sounds like the problem is at the rear.

Or the OP is a bat fastard.
