How do you find the speeds indicated by the dials? When I got mine the speeds on the dials where way out when compared with my speedo overlay?

not actually checked for accuracy yet. Waiting on a new cable arriving and will hopefully persuade a mate to do a few speed test just to be sure... Will let you know.

i have took onboard what coments people have.i am now printing out at a higher resolution. i have left the odometers in plain black so you can trim it once it is fitted.

also i have put "km" under where the odo's are so if you sell the bike you dont have to explain the distance is km not miles....

if anyone else has more comments let me know....

Couple of recommendations to make, first I used 2 spoons to remove the needle, even pressure both sides and jobs a good 'un.
Second I used emery all the way round the old dial, so that the 140 and mph are also illuminated, then stuck red insulation tape to the rear so that it shines through red, factory stylee.
Only trouble is although 30 mph seems right, on the motorway everyone appeared to be doing 85 mph.... can some kind soul with an NC29 tell me what the speeds are in top vs rpm, cheers.
PS this wasn't one of Andi's stickers, I made me own based on a now unavailable overlay with kmh in the inner ring.

I hate my overlay, it probably doesnt help that half the speedo doesnt light up either. I would love to put one of these on instead but i dont trust myself taking the speedo apart lol.

Right... after a couple of busy weeks I finally got the bike out for a run tonight... Not quite sure as to the accuracy of the Speedo overlay... Can anyone confirm that in 6th gear at 7500rpm what speed you'd be doing? Running 15t front and 38t rear sprocket so suppose that may make a small difference.. Any ideas?

I bought one of these and the quality is poor. I think a better quality paper could have been used. I have scanned it and touched it up and now sourcing better quality glossy sticker paper and will print on laser printer.

I'm happy enough with the quality once fitted.. More concerned about the accuracy.. Hence reason why I ask about the speed at 7500rpm in top gear
