NC23 Fluffy running
Hi,
I seem to be having a bit of fluffy running on my NC23, I have recently done the plugs and am awaiting an air filter (which are apparently quite rare!) could it just be the dirty air filter or do I need to delve deeper? How do I know if the carbs need balancing? The fluffiness is arounf the mid revs point, sort of dips then tries to pick up? Also how do I know if the bike is restricted?
Thanks for your help.
Martin

Re: NC23 Fluffy running
Thanks for that guys.
I'll check the CDI tomorrow.
I should find out this week if I have a new air filter incoming, if I have problems I will prob take you up on your offer woodzy.
Cheers.

Re: NC23 Fluffy running
If its 88, its the rrj unrestricted.
Likely to need dyno set up if you have aftermarket downpipes, can or exhaust
Roger at Corby Kawaski is good with CBR's on the dyno.

Re: NC23 Fluffy running
Thanks, it isn't restricted and I've had it out for a run today, it has a cut down blue flame exhaust on that I don't think the previous owner has sorted out. Once I have my air filter I'll invest in a bit of dyno time.
Cheers all.
