Discovered the reason for 2 of the teething problems - the low back end and the swingarm hitting the coolant reservoir - its because the bottom link on the rear suspension from the gullarm is twice the length of the triarm one.
Essentially its worked out that the linkage is a dramatic lowering kit for the lowest bike you can buy! Never mind, plans are afoot to rectify, with a replacement bottom link machined from the old triarm linkage.
When thats done we will get the tyres we have ready to swap onto the bike put on the wheels to give us a correct impression of ride height.
A seat unit is going to be given to us at Cadwell on Monday, so the project continues. The target of getting it on track at Cadwell is now unreachable, so we will press on over winter and try and get it done ready for the start of next trackday season.
