Re: baffles
Your standard can is worth more than any aftermarket can in the long run, and so you should ideally be seeking ways of protecting it for the future. (I have two perfect 100% standard uncut systems on my bikes and I will be storing them in the attic under cloths when im not using them. LOL) A good incestment you could consider it as..

Re: baffles
whats the alternative than cutting the standard can off and putting a link pipe on?
getting another abused system i guess? i have one in the garage with a battered can on, not sure what it is, it hasnt got the honda badge like on the bike its some sort of race can, but its not been cut to attatch on the system. dont think its been welded either will take a look as im confused

Re: baffles
Not exactly true. An Akrapovic or Yoshimura end-can will always get about £150-200, a Micron about £100-120 and other generic ones up to about £80-100. A standard can (if cut from the original system) is practically worthless. I recently gave a cut-system and standardcan away for nothing as that's what its worth. The Hamster wrote:Your standard can is worth more than any aftermarket can in the long run, and so you should ideally be seeking ways of protecting it for the future. Re: baffles
Thats a Factory original psjunkie... but having been cut, its not worht much at all..
My other thread about Standard Exhaust Value does apply to a complete sytem exactly as it has come out of the factory by the way, not a cut system or modified in any way.
