Just had the valve clearances checked and thought all was well. Went for a ride and and it started running rough and making a much louder noise.
Dreading anything having gone wrong with the valves, I pulled over and checked all the obvious things and noticed one of the front suppressor caps was loose, pulled it out and most of the plug came with it.
The threaded part is still in the cylinder, ive not had a look at it yet, but guess its going to be a mare to get it out........Any tips? im thinking stud extractor?
Im not taking it back to the same bike shop for obvious reasons, Ill have a crack myself.
Thanks

had this problem on my 23 a few years ago, welded a stud extractor to a socket and came out straight away.

Honda did a special tool forthat very problem so most GOOD Honda dealers should still have it and know how to use it.

Re: Spark Plug Broken After Valves Checked
been here a couple of times myself.
first thing first, make loads of space so you can see inside, if its the rear then its a doddle, if the front then remove the rads and ensure you can see inside.
i bet its left the prong bit behind with the thread, so the plug snapped at the top of the thread so the plug and insulator came out in one.
if so, then imagine you had a tyre valve extractor and you could put in it and unwind it.
well you can do the same with a flat head screwdriver, as there is no pressure on the threads it should unwind easily and a pair of long nose pliers to extract it once unwound.
i hope that makes sense its actually quite easy once you can see and access it
take your time and relax

Re: Spark Plug Broken After Valves Checked - Update
Phew - Easier than I thought.
Screw extractor set for less than £3 from screwfix and the remains came out no problem.
Local Honda dealer has no plugs, can you believe that.
Thanks for the input folks.

had the same problem on my fzr250, spark plug wouldnt budge then it budged a wee bit then snapped. got a flat headed screwdriver and pressed it against the bit stuck in the cylinder head and managed to unscrew it.
