dyno results inc graphs....

Post by powerbio »

hi all

i had my nc30 on the dyno today.

the guy said that it is running a bit lean on idle...so looks like ill need to screw the pilot screws out maybe half a turn and he also said that in the midrange it seemed to be a bit lean but doesnt think that it is the needles and has suggetsed that i go from 118f 120r to 120f 122r on the main jets.

it made 61.23bhp. mods are scorpion race can cut down.....needles shimmed to 1mm and as stated main jets at 118f 120r. pilot screws set at 2.25 turns out. slides drilled to 2.5mm.

what do you people think?

many thanks

Looks a tad lean at idle, and a little rich in the low-midrange.... :poke:

I would not worry about what the dyno man says, but more of how it rides on the road.

If you can come out of a tight 20mph corner in 3rd, wind the throttle wide open, and it revs to the redline then id be happy with that.

Running lean on idle etc, you never tend to use it at idle..
