NC 30 improvements

Post by Tadpole »

can anyone help.. My friend Dave's NC30 is struggling to match the power of my ZXR400 and my mates GSXR 400.. he's got a full race exhaust and has fettled the carbs etc. However he's hoping for some quick fixes for more usable power before his track day at Brands on 23rd. Any ideas?

No quick fixes really. Shed some weight off it and go faster that way. Instant and noticable improvements.

I can recommend BMC racing as they make some extremely fast, lightweight and powerful RVFs.

Google them and give them a bell - speak to Mike (who is on here too as rvfhonda)

Like the advert says "Power is nothing without control" and the NC30 has that.
A superb smooth torquey motor wrapped up in a fabulous chassis (Rick Oliver front fork kit and a Nitron fully adjustable race shock at the rear) and excellent brakes (Goodridge hoses with sintered pads).
With a new pair of super sticky Alpha10 tyres I sure your "mate" Dave will not be struggling to kick your lilly white ass round Brands on the 23rd.
And you are heavier than Dave ,so stay of the pies .

I concour with Dave on this one tadpole , too much pie eating over the off season , oh and with a rear shock like that white power one you'll never get the power down!!! :Bmods:
