Have a look here https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-vfr400r3-19 ... ml#results

Both straps are listed but I would suggest they have got the descriptions the wrong way around - IE item 12 is actually the Battery strap and not the one for the Tool box as listed (and vice versa). Your problem is you don't know if it is just the description that is the wrong way around or the item numbers as well. :?

Could be worth an e-mail to CMSNL

I'm pretty sure it's the description that's misleading and part 12 is the battery strap (as shown in the diagram). If you google the part no. it comes up with the same description for this part on a variety of Hondas. In other words, Honda Japan have written the description not cmsnl, so unless the cmsnl people actually dig out the parts and check them on the bike (assuming they have an NC30 to hand) they're unlikely to know. But I guess it's worth an email.
If I owned an NC30 I'd have a look for you Romney1 but I don't.

I searched for a 120mm battery strap and found a Yamaha one part no 7H3-82131-00 from salvagehunter15 on ebay, though it looks as though they've all gone now. If their part numbering is anything like honda the same part may have been used on other models with a minor code change

The number on the strap itself is 7H3-00
