Mine NC30 did 201km/h which is 125mp/h measured using iPhone SpeedoMeter App. In Poland we say, "it was on a German highway :)"

50kg rider, 2000miles on my rebuilt engine with rvf heads, cams, pistons(new rings), crank and rods (new mains/big end shells), new radiators
122f 120r Ricks needles.
Ethos full system, rvf wheel, bmw shock, hrc link, fiberglass fairing (3 piece) standard vfr gearing
Clocked at 135mph by a few modern bikes 2010+ on a 5 mile straight.
But it's not been on a dyno and now has a set of rlr nc35 carbs, ramair box and fuel pump so will be getting setup in the next month or two

Stock 1989 NC30 with Alpha 13s and better suspension.
GPS unit clocked 223km/h / 138mph on long straight lying on tank.
520 chain conversion, 15-38 sprockets and 17" rear wheel.
stock tyre sizes (160/60-17 on rear)
didnt have many if any rpm left either.

Saw 110mph and still accelerating last night on a, ahem, closed road. I backed off because I found myself having to lean off the bike to get round, erm, motorway type radius corners.

Re: What is the highest speed from your NC30/NC35 + mods?
I rode an NC30, ZXR and GSXR back to back in 2000, from memory NC was the slowest with about 130 mph, but handled best, GSXR did 135 and handled nicely, ZXR did 140 but I didn't like the handling.
But just to put things in perspective, Motorcycle Mechanics tested an MBA125 in 1984 that did 142mph.

Best I have gotten is 206kph (GPS) at the end of Taupo straight with a tuned but geared down engine. Could probably get more with a longer road and standard gearing

I work an a 450cc rvf400 or we call it the nc450v. I think that's made over 160mph.
