I changed the oil and the noise has disapear....
I have to say that the nise came when i change the oil last time and it was a semi synthetic.

did you check you didn't have a Kawasaki running next to you at the time of the horrible noise.

Im running Penrite MC4ST 10W-40 Full syth
I've never had problems with penrite before and would hate to think their oil is letting me down
I'm yet to inspect the starter clutch for wear, but that will be happening asap unless you have any advice.
