Well I decided to repair the original seat legs and then heated some washers up on the gas ring and then with the seat In place fitted them and tightened the nuts so the washers melted in and are now a structural part of the seat unit


Then I re covered both seats with some vynl at a cost of five quid

Will post some pictures later when I host em
