Forks and brakes have odd pitches internally, but I've never seen an M8 bolt on a Honda that wasn't standard pitch (which is 1.25 for an M8). Same goes for everything else, actualy, except M10, which is normally also 1.25 on a Honda (standard pitch being 1.5). Put an M8 together with a Honda M10 and the threads should fit together perfectly.

Pro bolt sell a little thread pitch checker tool, its about a £5 posted and is really useful little tool.
