Well I'll be phoning k Yeh workshop later today to get my forks booked in. Then just need to swap the spring over on my ohlins shock, refit wih my NC35 linkage. Get wheels powder coated and tyres fitted. When the forks are back I'll take them to a local shop to get caliper adapters fabricated. Re assemble with all parts. Get engine ready (it's been stood for about a year drained of fuel, not sure where to start) then repair the bodywork before a simple paint job...

So forks are going to k tech next week. Excited? Yes!

Just thought I'd write out what will be the final spec list:
Standard engine and carbs.
Standard front pipes, yamamoto system, SP Engineering Carbon End can and baffle.
ZXR400 forks with CBR600 Ohlins internals.
Rick Oliver aluminium yokes.
Ohlisn rear shock.
Reconditioned ZXR front brakes, stainless pistons, titanium bolts.
EBC X discs 310mm.
Supercorsas for dry, Bridgestone wets.
VFR750 17" rear wheel conversion.
Race aluminium sub frame.
Total loss ignition and wiring loom.
Samco hoses and stainless clips.
HRC style coolant overflow.
Aluminium front fairing/clock mount and aluminium mirror stay.
Renthal dual compound grips.
Ignitech ignition.
Race oil filter.
Titanium oil sump bolt.
Titanium disc bolts and dry wheels.

ben, was the cbr ohlins internals a custom job on those forks? never heard of that before.

Edit to add: I bought them from Andy at AWM racing who had the work done by Gareth at Reactive Suspension in York. Who I phoned to confirm authenticity. He also serviced them.

ah right thats interesting, i was researching and a full ktech rebuild with new valves and shims etc and springs would be over 500 , be interesting if this was any cheaper, im just running progrssive springs
