Ben's track bike
Basically turning my road NC30 into a track bike, won't be cutting any of the road parts but instead storing them meaning it could always be turned back to standard with a bit of work.

here's some poor photos of the state it's in at the moment. I'm really planning nothing fancy at all.
The plan:
Fit race bodywork
Fit 929 frotn brake
race/track clocks and wiring loom.
spare pentrol tank
change HRC pipes for yamamoto half system.
long term i may put RVF rear wheel and shock linkage on

Re: Ben's track bike
Too much hassle with it being mild steel, doesn't give me much advantage over the Yamamoto system.
Edit to add: me personally not people in general

Re: Ben's track bike
Fair enough mate, did you ever get it noise tested with the HRC system fitted? Worried mine is going to be over 105db, still haven't started the bike with it fitted yet so it might be like a sewing machine for all I know :p

Nope, think you'll need a baffle though!VFRkieran wrote:Fair enough mate, did you ever get it noise tested with the HRC system fitted? Worried mine is going to be over 105db, still haven't started the bike with it fitted yet so it might be like a sewing machine for all I know :p

Re: Ben's track bike
Update:
Now fitted worked USD forks (Zxr400 externals but everything else will be changed)
Ohlins shock
Nc35 linkage (can't afford the work for HRC linkage)
Vfr750 rear hub and wheel conversion
Hoping to make a few bemsee meets next year, a couple of Trackdays at donny and Cadwell maybe too/instead.
