Nc29 fuel problems
Hi guys wondered if any could help I have an nc29 that won't pull around the 6k area
The spec of my bike is
444 Pistons
Ram air
Gf headers
B spec carbs
108 main recommended
Standard b spec needles with one washer
Standard small jet
No air filter
The bike will pull like a train with the choke fully out
Any ideas guys
Thanks

Re: Nc29 fuel problems
Why have you only got 108 main jets if youre running ram air etc etc ? Surely they should be bigger

I can tell you now to get the ram air working properly you need adjustable needles.

Re: Nc29 fuel problems
I'm hopfully taking it to the dyno. The dyno guy as told me to drop another washer under the needle.
I was told that B spec carbs don't need the dynojet needles where as A spec do words from an expert
The dyno Man also said put 116 mains in. Will see what the report says

Not and expert on Onda's but if it runs better on choke then it's running lean, unless there is an underlying fault somewhere else.
Get it checked out then try it a bit richer maybe.

Re: Nc29 fuel problems
What's the advantage of 444 pistons, worth it for road riding?

Re: Nc29 fuel problems
No it's a racebike has made a big diffrence.
Been advised to get a programmeable cdi and cams to get full potential out of it
More expense in parts and dyno time so don't think it will happen

As been said.if its running good on choke then it suggests the jetting is lean.108s are way to small especially with ram air.go for 116s and go from there with dyno work
