Re: r1 front end one fzr400 1wg
If the steering head bearings on the 1WG are the same as the 3TJ then you will have no probs

I also had to have an aluminium 'collar' welded in to the R1 top yoke to bring down the internal size to that of the FRZ4 stem.
I run mine with a GPS speedo at the moment, but I still got 4 stars for effort from the plod a few months back.....
I love the front end on it but I still need to get some aftermarket bars as the R1 items are in a fixed position and just a bit 'wrong'!
Good luck!

There'd two big hoses on the rad but there's a third smaller one that's been plug up, anyone know we're it should go?

If it is the one at the filler neck; it goes to an expansion (header) tank and should be utilised.
A pic would be handy here; there is a lot of different rads; some have a remote filler
What happened to your FZ. ?

If you expand the first pic of Chris' bike at the top of this page you can see the rad filler with the expansion hose.
That is a 3TJ. The Genesis has a remote filler buried under the tank cover. This is what a pic helps out with.
You might have a 600 rad !

Appears to be an early (1989/90) engine; going by the oil cooler.
