Quick action throttle

Thinking of fitting 1 anyone on here got 1 if so what make did you use and are they easy to set up

NSR250 throttle tube will do the job perfectly although I can't rightly remember if you need the housing as well. If you are bothered about a return cable the cbr one will be too short but as long as your carb return spring is working properly you dont need it

I have had a throttle stick open on me before so I like a return cable.... When you are leaving the braking late and the motor doesn't quit there's hardly enough time to cr@p yourself. But have a look at the last post of the above link.... quite an interesting explanation and it seems the guy knows his stuff

I never had a problem on the 40 or so track days I ran a single cable, I switched to a purpose built 1/5 turn throttle eventually and that was also single cable as is the one in 636.

However if it bothers you it's cheap enough to get a return cable made.
