Re: Jack up kits for nc23/29
Have you looked at using cbr600 link arms? Think the dog bone link on the 29 is the same as those used on cbr600's and nsr but in different lengths i have a few different ones i'll look at the lengths if you like?
Or something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MV-Agusta-F4- ... _500wt_689

No not tried 600 link arms but good idea, im going to be sending standard 23 linkage and dogs to see what they can do, but might look into the 600 link arms for the 29.dunkenb wrote:Have you looked at using cbr600 link arms? If the arm length is shorter it will pull the linkage down relative to the bottom mount pushing the other end with the shock on in the opposite direction. So the swing arm will be lower relative to frame increasing ride height.
You could also try making an adjustable top mout for the shock similar to th gsxr ones.
But experimenting with different length dog bones will be cheapest, if your lucky you get one for 99p on ebay.

Just had a look at a picture of the linkage and dog bone for the 29,
You may be able to turn the linkage over to increase ride height or put it in back to front.
Some guy tried it on a cbr600 and got an increase

Just found these, they look the same fitment for the nc23 were the rear shock fits to the top of the frame, maybe this would be a good way of jacking them up?

Suppose it could be used on both the 23 and 29 if you think about it.
Might get a couple and try them out, just need to find out the width of the opening and bolt holes
EDIT: actually looking at it i dont think it will work, the open end will fit the shock fine as the width is 30mm but the closed end which goes to the frame will have the bolt holes pointing out towards the seat instead of level across the frame, wonder if anyone could make these same mounts but with the bolt holes in line, if you know what i mean?
