Tyga rearset swingarm clearance?

Post by starkey »

Just wondering how close the tyga rearsets should be to the swingarm and if this is normal?

A miss is as good as a mile, but to be sure could you put a washer between the mount and the frame, give you a little bit of room. Or even file off the corner of the rearset if your desperate.

That will touch...

I use big spacers on mine - do on all the rearsets I've ever used.

shim it out with a washer.

Are the rearsets new? mine where second hand and must have had a slight knock at some point as when fitted with the big spacer they touched the swing arm and rubbed it, so i had to pack it out with a washer, then got a new spacer made to the correct thickness.
