Re: rvfto Cbr600rr 09 fork front end swap
So it was literally a bolt on job? Did you use the Daytona front wheel/axle/discs or did the RVF wheel end up fitting on?james66 wrote:Hi
It is me who has the 675 daytona forks on mine, bean also followed suit shortly after
Stock rvf yokes, 675 daytona forks are in + showing 5mm through the top on my race bike
675 street triple forks are slightly longer but can be bought a bit cheaper, street triple are black + daytona are gold
the difference was like night + day, forks are incredible with massive feel + adjusters that realy do something also i run yamaha r1/r6 calipers, not saying the stock calipers are bad, far from it but the radial brakes are a world apart when realy demand the most
well worth it but dont pay what people seem to think rvf yokes are worth
sellers seem to have some illusion that stock rvf yokes are worth £150
bean bought his billet yokes for £200 delivered with stem + they are very tasty
any problems give me a shout
James

And while I think about it, do you happen to still have the measurements for the custom spacers?

Re: rvfto Cbr600rr 09 fork front end swap
I had a Street Triple with gold forks. The Street Triple R and Daytona forks are the same, the regular Street Triple forks are lower spec. I know it's a bit pedantic, but I thought I would mention this in case anyone jumps on eBay and buys the first gold set they see.james66 wrote:Hi

Have the 675 forks changed for 2013?

I was under the impression that the bike was the same as 2011, just with the R model getting better kit.
