eBay 'specials' and other junk finds

A place to bang on about subjects close to your heart that affect us all as 400cc riders. general banter is rife, however rudeness and abuse seem to be the norm, If a bit wet round the ears best go play elsewhere. Auto pruning of items 31 days and older

That's ridiculous.

Some people have more money than sense.

If people are willing to pay £500+ for that, then you gotta ask what they value a good condition bike with tax & test at...

And they still go for silly money

Long gone are the days when I could pick up a complete bike for less than £200 and spend less than £100 putting it back on the road  Now everyone wants £500 plus for an old shitter
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

what is it about turning the seat unit up like that, it looks hideous, I could live with the rest of it, and tho streetfighters aren't my thing the martek's are sought after

I'm sure I've seen this one before, and therefore it's probably been here, but as it cropped up again.... After buying several sets of carbs at £25-40, and seeing airboxes go for similar or less, I reckon this is an absolute steal.

Pity it would be the seller doing the stealing! There's even holes in one of the bloody things, ffs!!
