If people are willing to pay £500+ for that, then you gotta ask what they value a good condition bike with tax & test at...bikemonkey wrote:That's ridiculous.vic-vtrvfr wrote:I can't believe it made £510!

And they still go for silly moneyphilfingers wrote:seems to be fewer and fewer stock looking bikes on ebay/market these days.

Long gone are the days when I could pick up a complete bike for less than £200 and spend less than £100 putting it back on the road

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

what is it about turning the seat unit up like that, it looks hideous, I could live with the rest of it, and tho streetfighters aren't my thing the martek's are sought after

I'm sure I've seen this one before, and therefore it's probably been here, but as it cropped up again.... After buying several sets of carbs at £25-40, and seeing airboxes go for similar or less, I reckon this is an absolute steal.

Pity it would be the seller doing the stealing! There's even holes in one of the bloody things, ffs!!
