look slike ive landed on a pretty cool forum... lots of road trips out to which will be cool.. it will be a while though for me to practice on my own before riding out with others.. looking forward to it!! next summers going to be great!
what is a dog bone? something to go on the end of the stand? how would you recomend extending the stand? get one off a larger bike?

Re: NC29 newbie!
dog bone does have a technical term... but i cant remember it!
its part of the mono shock linkage on the bike. you get a longer one that will make the bike sit at the same lean angle when on the side stand and same seat height when upright.
elongating a side stand.. cut and weld a extra bit in.. not sure if ones off bigger bikes work.. may do.

Re: NC29 newbie!
you can use a 600f or 600rr shock make sure its got the linkage (theres one on ebay at mo for 25 quid post inc ), but yes the stand needs extending as the bike will sit at a horrible angle and look as if its going to fall over. its said that the change does make the bike react out of cornering as it was intended to.

this doesnt have link and i dont know if 29 one fits this is in the lower price ranges that ive seen them go for.

Re: NC29 newbie!
a real leather jacket (i.e. branded one wth armour), or a jacket that is made out of leather. does it fit well? when i first got my leather jacket i got a 200pound richa one. in hindsight i know realise its miles too big for mew00dzy wrote:d have got myself a leather jacket! :D getting my helmet next week
also if you are skinned at the moment dont buy a helmet, especially if you are not riding at the moment.
save up for a while longer, if you are serious about you bikes you should not be spending less that 150, and more like 230 if possible.
