Only if you want an invalid policy, which could mean alsorts of shit if you have a crash etc

When asking for adivce, its good to make people aware of the limitations AND offer advice in overcoming them.
Standard might be worth more though, but some people just wanna be different.
If these type approval laws get approved, then we will ALL after ride bog stock (new) bikes and won't even be allowed to add a sticker or change the tail pipe!
I for one don't want to be dictated to what I can and cant do to my bike (but thats another rant for another day)

When the bottom falls out of the bike and car markets for just this sort of thing, I'm sure the manufacturers will pressure the Eurocrats into stopping being cretins!
