Not many pics of this bit.
I ordered a box of bits ... they arived and I've cleaned up the brakes front and rear. new pads in and bled.
One thing I remember from my last 3TJ - why do they put that stupid thing on the master cylinder reservior ??? the clip with the nut and bolt that seizes solid .... I cut it off.

Found out the back disc is warped but then when I came to undoing the disc bolts one rounded out, still it's a good excuse to use the angle grinder. A few minutes with the grinder and a bit of whack and the disc is off the bolt stub got unscrewed with molegrips.

cleaned up the wheel and put the new sproket on. I was going to use some nice pro bolt sprocket nuts but I orderred the 600R ones and they're the wrong size. I had some new flange nuts which fitted so I used them and sent the others back. The chain tensioner nuts are the same as the sproket nuts and I had some new bolts the originals were bent.

So maybe now onto the frame.

Right then, not much has happened to this, really it's going to be stripping paint, rust killing, prime, paint and laquer.
So to start with

No - it's a way off being finished :( I'm away to Italy this weekend so not much is going to be done.

But here's a little taster of what's to come

Stop teasing me with all this Yama-porn  :ban:

Get it done Boris :peace:
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

A guy in the garage complex was telling me how I could cut a small slot or use an impact driver (but the allen head was already rounding) I just said "nah mate, angle grinder" .... and had it done by the next day. A grinder is ok if you don't want to mark the disc or disc carrier
