hi all, ive been rebuilding my bike for about two years now and my memorys gona bit rusty, i pulled the side stand out of a box earlier and noticed two rubber pipes attached to it, im assuming that one runnes to the air box lid looking at at my photos i took but the other i havent got a clue, any one know? all i can see is that they both run to the left side of the genny casing upwards.

Carb overflow or battery drain?
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: where do the pipes go? side stand
from looking at other threads, im thinking that a pipe( which i think a previous owner may of cut in half) goes from the top of the fuel tank into a t piece then from the t one goes to the sidestand and the other not quite sure....... but do the three pipes and t piece sit under the carb or above them?

not my bike but a friends nc has the pipe from air box lid gos straight to the side stand ,
and the the pipe that comes off the tank breather which has the t piece on, the shorter pipe then sits down the left side of the alternator cover , and the long bit gos to the side stand , ive always been told there both breathers
and the pipes kinda sit between the frame and engine , i put the pipes so there just sit above the bottom of carbs on my bike
