Hi All!
Im away to be sending some parts away to get powdercoated including the swing arm. The problem is that im not sure how to remove the bearings from the swing arm bolt, and i dont want to be too rough incase i damage. Is there a technique or tool for removing? Any help would be much appreciated. I will be posting a full description of the rebuild on the site too.

I'll second that dremmel is the only way to go for the needle bearing. Smash the bearing rollers out and then being careful grind through the thin wall of the bearing to make it collapse. There probably is a tool but buggered if i could find one.

Re: Swing Arm Bearings on nc30
Thanks for the replies. I was hoping I would get away without having to replace the bearings. Suppose it would be good practice to replace them while there out anyway eh. Do you think I'll be able to get them from honda easily enough?
thanks

Get the needle bearing from Honda as it has a built in seal (read expensive, bout £50+ from memory
easily supplied though) the other 2 are generic and can be got from any bearing supplier

Look at it this way....
The origanal lasted 20 years so the replacement will do for another 20 years
