as above-are they easy to use and are they actually helpfull for getting the carbs set right

Easy enough to use, but ensure you have a bucket of ice for putting your hand in after you burn it trying to adjust the screws. Recommend buying the proper adjuster tool which is a screw driver/socket at 90 degrees on a long shaft!!

Just found this it states not for Honda, but from my experience the screws on the carbs are slotted or you can use a small socket I think 7-8mm. item number on flea bay 390349421203.

do you adjust the butterfly screw to sync carbs? or the airscrews?

You adjust screws on the linkages that connect each carbs throttle butterfly. Probably impossible without a right angled screwdriver!

Get your hand in there with a7mm socket, a pair of marigold help deflect the heat too.
