NC30 related questions

Post by mattiec321 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 7:16 pm

Guys.

I am in the process of putting right all of the bodges previous owners have made to the NC30 I now own.

Having had the carbs off and found that some numpty had diagonally mixed up the emulsion tubes and jets.

This bike is running the 115/118 set up. Also whilst looking at the needles somebody had, on the rear carbs but 6! .5mm washers on them. God knows why.... The fronts had 3 each. I have changed them to 2 as per the jetting guide found on this forum.

I havn't as yet drilled the slides. Does it really make that much difference?

I have noticed that the rear suspension resevior is suspended inder the battery tray by cable ties. Surley this can't be right..

Can anybody send me a picture of where is should be located.

Thanks All

bighug
