NC30 Front Brake Pad Comparison - Which ones should I buy???

Post by 999Gomerz »

Hi Guys,

I want to get some new pads and am after you advice on which ones, I have found part listings for the following;

1- OEM Pads: 45105-KV3-701
2 - HRC TTF3: 45105-MR7-612
3 - HRC SP: 45105-MN8-006
4 - HRC RVF: 45105-NKD-970

I am looking for an actual answer, not "I would stick with the ones that came with the bike rom the factory cause when they made it they knew what they were doing" or similar responses.

Thanks,

Adrian

The OEM Nissin pads are superb.

The EBC HH pads are also pretty good.

The Nissin oem are very good.

For the track I used Performance Friction carbon, superb (best I've used) but pricey. The best pads have probably improved somewhat since hrc released theirs for the nc's.

What is your intended purpose.

Are you planning on high-speed track/racing use or just street use?

The OEM Nissin pads are one of the best you can buy for the bike, great performance all round.

Maybe if your planning on doing a lot of super late heavy braking on a track might you consider something a bit more 'race' orientated but they often don't work as well at street temperature.

The OEM Nissin work well throught the temperature range and are good on track too.
