I feel your pain. I was doing that a couple of months ago. I used a little heat from a torch on the outside of the caliper. Then got vice grips on the lip of the piston and spun instead of trying to pull it out. Once it spun a little you can start to try to slowly lift it out. Of course the vice grips will ruin the piston.

did you try putting them back on mate then split?? much easier. you need an impact drive.

You could always have it in a vice upside down and seriously heat the caliper with a torch and see it expands enough to loosen the piston a bit.

i could heat it up, but then i wouldnt know how to pop it out without splitting it, there is no room to fit any tool around it,

if i split it then i can get a tool inside the piston like plyers but open them and pull like cirlcip plyers,

here s what id do, fit them to the bike, heat the area around the bolts, then use spray some easy out stuff deep penitration stuff on the bolt after, do it a few times.....what this does is when you spray the cold fluid onto the bolt coz the caliper is hotter it gets pulled into the thread a little , deeper each time you do it....then an impact drive. id prob hit it with that off though and in a vice or somin mate, cos it might bend somin.

I usually pump the pistons out with the brake pedal, one will go first. I then lock this by putting a spanner down the middle of the caliper, this locks the first piston and then the second should start to move.

That's what I did with mine. They're a bastard to shift any other way.

That said, apply enough heat and the seals will be ruined so they should just pull right out.
