evil: does it comes with a pair of flairs and a straw hat? seriously cool bike, an absolute credit to you. workmanship and quality of work is brill, hope it goes to someone worthy of it, its just not me, Im a racer, not a cruiser

em...... R6, at that price, I'll take two, local R6's no history, trashed, very untidy, and round the moon twice, start about 2K here? R6's are nice, but are they any good, carb pre 2002 or injection post 2002? which ones best

As for the RRSP's just love the style of them, late 80's early 90's bikes ROCK!, hate new bikes, sort of belong to the film blade or i robot, ok we need progression, or we would still be riding RD stlye bikes. not that theres anything wrong with em either

Have to think about it a bit longer, If I could get a engine to fit the frame without hacking the frame, this would leave that it could be returned to a 400 if wanted?

OK, with money no object! what would you build? (NOT THAT IT ISNT< IM ON THE SAME ~LEEKY SHIP AS (EVERYONE) ELSE! :rocks:

There was a frame and 600 engine for sale on the 'bay reccently for £200, just needed a front and rear end added on.

My hybrid has a standard frame, i just removed some material from the engine block. I've had no problems with that set up so i'd personally leave the frame alone and get some conversion plates sorted if you decide to go with the project ;)

Sound advise, if I do go ahead, main aim ti to leave frame as is, want to leave it, so it can be returned to standard. not selling any bits.

Nick, if you have fitted a 600 engine, without modding the frame, what engine have you used.
I will be using engine mount, from here? think someone was selling them. I think i seen two different types recently, some basic shaped, and the other was plasma cut, almost dog bone shape?

going to look at a shed full of bits hopefully this week, will no doubt keep you posted / asking advise?
anyone need anything 600 related?

You cannot fit a 4JH or 4TV engine to a 3TJ or 4DX frame without cutting the frame and/or the engine if you want to do it right.

The 4JH and 4TV engines are outwardly the same, ie whichever method you use to mount the engine in your frame will work with the other engine (4JH and 4TV engines are interchangeable)

I can supply you with a pair of laser cut engine plates which will mount the engine correctly but you must remove material from either the frame or engine, and seeing as how you don't want to cut the frame you'll need to remove the material from the engine. If you choose not to cut either the engine or frame you'll end up with the engine mounted skewed in the frame- and it'd be a bit of a shame to spoil the ship for a ha'porth of tar ;)

Meh. What do I know, I've only built three hybrids...
