NC30 Speedo not working

Hi, My speedo is not working ? Any ideas or advice + Parts ? Just got a NC30 so starting off!

Speedo cable is first and most likely. Disconnect at the back of the speedo and see if you can turn the wheel and hold the top end still. If yes it's broken - replace.

Is drive cable ok? Also check the drive unit on the gearbox sprocket cover, particularly the plastic coupling on the end of the sprocket bolt. It could be missing or broken. If the above are ok then try driving the speedo with battery powered drill to see if it reads.

Thanks guys, Checked the cable and ity was snapped near the joint at the bottom - so ordered a new one cheers
