CBR400RRR - HRC rear brake reseviour

Post by SPal »

Hi,

Bought a HRC rear brake reseviour (bit of green hose pipe) to go on nc29.

I've fitted one of these to my SP1 without too much trouble ( soften in hot water & push on), but nozzle on nc29 brake master cylinder looks bigger than one on SP1.

Is there a favoured doner master cylinder I need or am I just being a pussy ?

THe TYGA website shows an NC29 fitted with the HRC reseviour but makes no mention of any need to change for another models unit?

Any info appreciated !

Use a pair of pointed nose pliers to expand it a little, push them in and then open them up and then some silicon lube to fit it on.

Worked for me!

Hi All,

Good news, all done, had reservations that pipe would stretch over nozzle but the old boiling water trick works again

cheers
