what other bikes used the same clutch master cylinder as a 98 firestorm?

Looks very similar to the older 1000rr and SP1/SP2 master cylinders.

I reckon it would be similar to an rvf m/c - same calipers.

The VFR800 could be an option, if you can get me a pic (i sold my firestorm) perhaps the RC30 too

Is it a 1/2" master cylinder? Probably same as VFR800 then.

from memory I think most of them are the same size piston diameter (13mm?) (apart from the fluid container that changes design) on pretty much most of the 90's Honda bikes...

thanx guys, most of the honda m/c's have the box type reservoir. the 98 firestorm had a remote res - the sp1 used the same set up but its silly money to buy sp1 parts (purely because they came off an sp1).

i bought a "complete" firestorm m/c assy but the knob i bought it from took off the res and the wee plastic connecter and i cannot get the parts to replace them anywere unless i buy an overpriced sp1 "complete" assy

Just a thought - could it be the same connector as used in a nissin brake master?
