Update - NC30 Remains have gone

Now have another bike to add to the rvf, yzf and the mighty cg. Finally have a Ducati, went for a modded biposto with sps engine spec rather than a 748r. needs the wheels repainting and a mark on the seat unit repairing but they are being sorted.

Still wish you had kept yours, that was a lovely thing that was. The 996 is not as spotless as the other 2 but its getting there, spent the last week removing stickers, renewing washers and generaly tidying it up, keep getting the piss taken out of me by peeps telling me i should open a shop, i only have 4 bikes for god sake. Have to learn to ride it though as boy is it easy to lock the wheel up when coming down the box, needs a slipper me thinks. Hows your rvf coming on, not seen any updates in a while, any other bikes added to the stable.

 yeah i did see a pic of it with all those stickers on, i knew you'd remove them thank god. Yes i know i should have kept mine but i just had RVF's on the brain at that point  atleast its gone to Aly and should he ever sell it it i'll be knocking on his door. I absolutly loved the slipper clutch on my old one, proper superbike factory spec and boy was it good. It would be the first thing i brought if i got another duc without question.

My RVF went on the back burner for a bit but its back on course now and should my decals ever turn up it'll be finished within the month.

welcome to the dark side.
slipper not really needed, just need to unwind brain and forget the japanese way of riding and let the motor do the work in the right rpm range.
took me 2 years to get the best from mine, and still learning 8 years on

Im sure i will get used it, had my doubts to start with, whether i had bought the right one, but the more i work on it the more i love it. So easy to work on compared to the yzf and rvf and it does have alot of nice bits fitted to it. Think i was being too hard on it, as condition wise it was not mint as stated but im a fussy bast and it really is looking nice now, although the pics don't do it justice. The noise is just amazing although i still love the sound of a V4 more ;)
