One spare (flushed out...) Triarm coolant tank & one spare GS500 petrol tap (minus the diaphragm spring) - FREE. :blowout:

I thought a cheap mini moto tank would do when I balanced my carbs but in the end I bought a metre of fuel pipe and balanced (bungeed) my tank to a refuse bin, it worked fine.

Q) If I was to fill a plastic bottle with petrol with a fuel line attached to the bottom and attach this to the carbs via the T piece, would that work?

Make sure you have a venthole in the top of the bottle or the resulting vacuum as the bottle empties will result in fuel starvation... ;)

If you look in this pic, hanging on the back wall btween the 2 posters you will see a bottle with a long black pipe attatched and sticking oiy of the top in an old funnel so you dont have to piss about when you want to top the fuel up

Nice NSR!

I need to balance the carbs on my bike.

What carb balancing kit can anyone recommend?
